So its tight... but I removed the to hooks and as far as I can tell there isn't anywhere for it to "bump", but it is possible... I might have to look into that. I have noticed though that the right muffler hangs a little closer to the car than the left. Just the way its made I think, cuz I've adjusted, pulled/hanged on it trying to get it to move, which didn't really help much... its a pain polishing the top of the tips since there so close to the bumper... which they are currently browning (browning the wax as it wipes off with a little elbow grease), mostly due to my oil burning under heavy vacuum (read downshifting deceleration). Going to switch to Mobil1 15w50 this weekend (I've been running 10w30 for 3 years, but I think the valve stems seals, which were the only gasket/seal in the motor I didn't replace, are allowing oil into the cylinders during heavy vacuum scenarios).
